Freakin Tony Stewart bumped Jeff Gordon in Lap 41, wrecking him, and resulting in Gordon’s 5th DNF for the season.
Said Gordon to Stewart: “All I can say that the next time Tony’s holding me up, it won’t be very long for him to be out of my way.”

So, we have a clogged sink in the house and called a plumber over to resolve the problem. Dude sounds just like Billy Bob Thornton from Sling Blade, right down to the random grunts!
Good movie, highly recommended. Johnny Depp gives a great performance, as does Freddie Highmore, who plays Peter, the inspiration for J.M. Barrie’s Peter Pan character. I almost shed a tear at the end of the movie.
Depp and Highmore team up again for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, opening July 15th. Can’t wait to see it...looks decent from all the previews I’ve seen so far.

According to this, Boone’s last name is Carlyle, and he is the COO of a wedding planning company called Carlyle Weddings.
This article talks about another guy on the plane, Harold Wollstein, a tech genius who was supposed to revolutionize the world with some new invention utilizing nanotechnology. He sat in 23C. All his research was in his laptop which went down with the plane.
According to IMDB (scroll all the way down to see actors appearing in next season’s opener), Samuel L. Jackson has a part on the show, playing “Bernard.”
My theory is that he is Harold Wollstein and he took on the name “Bernard” after surviving the crash landing, to protect his identity and his new invention, and he is also Rose’s husband. Rose, while talking to Charlie, said he was in the tail section of the plane and that she KNOWS that her husband is still alive. Rose sat in 23D. Could he have possibly been in the back of the plane temporarily, in the bathroom or something, when the plane went down? Further, could he be in cahoots with Ana-Lucia, who was also in the back of the plane?
So, we have two confirmed people in the back. Harold/Bernard, and Ana-Lucia. Both are, I believe, alive and somewhere on the island.

What’s up with the new Friendster puke green colors? Looks like they’re in some kind of sponsorship with Pepsi, to promote Pepsi Lime. Now, that’s all well and good..but changing your site colors?! WTF?! Talk about selling out.
AK and I were lounging around Dave and Busters in Irvine, and after a few cocktails, decided to play some games before calling it a night.
First up: Need for Speed GT. Of course, I came in first place. Thank you very much.
Next: Virtua Cop. AK started first, then i slid the card through to activate the second player, and began shooting like crazy. It was at this time that a casual observer pointed out that my player was not yet activated and kindly pushed the “start” button for me. Thanks buddy.
Last: With only a few credits left, we decided to try our luck on the Cyclone (for those who don’t know what this is, see here). With credits entered, I took one look and hit the button. Jackpot! 586 tickets. Sweet. We proceeded to the redemption and were told that our card had some 1,100 tickets on there already. We now had a total of 1,900+. Looking around, we decided on this:
Still have 1,000+ tickets left, and i’ve got vouchers from years ago, bringing the total to around 2,000. Enough for a couple of Jeff Gordon phones.
