DUDE! They killed off Vaughn! WTF?!
Bad move, IMHO. Vaughn was an important character. Its like killing off Scully’s Mulder on X-Files. Well, I guess that happened in the last season of that show (Mulder wasn’t killed off, but disappeared for the entire season until the finale), and it was pretty shitty.
I suppose now they’ll introduce a new love interest for Sydney. Or perhaps Vaughn isn’t really dead. Or maybe he has a twin brother. Who knows.

Anyone catch the season finale of Alias?! Man, this is what the Lost finale should have been. Perhaps JJ Abrams was too busy coming up with such great writing for this episode, that he didn’t put in all his effort towards Lost.
I’ve been a fan of Alias since it started years ago. It was great...great characters, great storylines. But a few seasons later, it was the same old thing, repeated over and over. I had hopes for the show with this new season, because it was supposedly going back to its roots. JJ Abrams was taking control, and attempting to redefine it once again. However, I lost interest after the first few episodes, and saw some episodes here and there.
Because of this, I wasn’t too interested in catching the season finale. But, I gave in and watched the final episodes, and boy am I glad I did. The cliffhanger at the end of this show, two words: Holy crap!!!
Now, admittedly, the whole car crash thing is played out. As they were driving along, I thought it’d be pretty lame if they got hit and that’s how it ended. Yes, thats what ended up happening, but Vaughn’s admission that he isn’t really Vaughn made up for it. So, who the hell is Michael Vaughn really?! Has he been living a lie these last few years? Is he really Syd’s brother? Sloane’s son? Is he a Chinese double agent?!
Guess i’ll have to tune in when Alias returns next season. I hate keeping up with all these shows.

What the hell is George Lucas doing on The OC?! The Star Wars marketing people must think that not enough people know about Revenge of the Sith to warrant this this appearance by the God of Geeks himself.
And he didn’t even talk about the movie!
The OC is a great show. Who’s with me? Anyone?

Holy crap! The OC busted out Eye of the Tiger! Rock on!
Survivor - Eye Of The Tiger
Risin’ up, back on the street
Did my time, took my chances
Went the distance, now I’m back on my feet
Just a man and his will to survive
So many times, it happens too fast
You trade your passion for glory
Don’t lose your grip on the dreams of the past
You must fight just to keep them alive
It’s the eye of the tiger, it’s the thrill of the fight
Risin’ up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night
And he’s watchin’ us all with the eye of the tiger
Face to face, out in the heat
Hangin’ tough, stayin’ hungry
They stack the odds, till we take to the street
For the kill with the skill to survive
It’s the eye of the tiger, it’s the thrill of the fight
Risin’ up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night
And he’s watchin’ us all with the eye of the tiger
Risin’ up, straight to the top
Had the guts, got the glory
Went the distance, now I’m not gonna stop
Just a man and his will to survive
It’s the eye of the tiger, it’s the thrill of the fight
Risin’ up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night
And he’s watchin’ us all with the eye of the tiger
The eye of the tiger
The eye of the tiger
The eye of the tiger

Holy crap! Did ya’ll see 24 tonight?
I heard from several sources about this being an episode not to miss, and that Fox would be airing repeats 2 more times later this week.
Finally revealed was Mitch Anderson’s mission. I figured that when he was shown hijacking the plane, chances were that he’d be going to shoot down Air Force One. That was pretty much a given. Of course, I also thought Jack Badass Bauer would somehow stop him.
Holy crap! Jack could not stop him! Mitch fired off a rocket at Air Force One! Pretty freackin ballsy, if you ask me, of the writers to actually make this happen. However, AF1 was not completely destroyed, but suffered an “indirect hit.” Lame, IMO. They took a chance by doing this, so why not go all the way and blow it up completely?
Well, it was a worthy episode, but in the end, probably not the best of the season.
Thoughts on future shows:
- I believe this is a prelude to the return of David Palmer. The VP, now President, won’t know shit about being President, and will enlist the expertise of David Palmer.
- What else is a Habib Marwan up to? I dunno. Chances are he’s got like 5 other things lined up, and with about 8 more hours to go, i’d bet theres plenty of time for more havoc to be wreaked. And Behroooooooouz is still alive I believe. Habib will tell him the Americans killed his mother, and Behroooooooouz will get super angry and seek revenge on Jack Bauer.
