24 - Day 5

One of the most exciting and excellent seasons of 24 has come to an end, and what a season it was. Some of our favorite characters died (Tony, Edgar, President David), and we were introduced to new heros and villians.

I found the season finale to be quite good. How sweet would it have been if Jack tortured Logan to get him to confess. But, to see Logan finally go down was satisfying. Although, I would’ve preferred if he was killed by the people he was working for.

Perhaps we’ll see that happens next season with his inevitable return. He’ll most definitely want revenge on Jack Bauer. And what about Jack? Our favorite hero has been abducted by the Chinese, who have clearly not forgotten that he killed (but not really), their ambassador last season. Oh to see Jack beat up, begging for death, was heartbreaking. More heartbreaking then watching him walk off into the sunrise at the end of season 5.

It’s going to be a long 8 months until Day 6 begins in January 2007, but i’ll be waiting patiently. See you next year, Jack!
