Dr. Dino has been arrested for tax evasion. (warning: link potentially NSFW; it will direct you to a Christian website)
Aside from the fact that this story is about a man who calls himself Dr. Dino, and this is The Dinoblog, this story is also interesting because:
“The debtor apparently maintains that as a minister of God, everything he owns belongs to God and he is not subject to paying taxes to the United States on money he receives for doing God’s work,” U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Lewis Killian Jr. wrote when he dismissed a claim from Hovind in 1996.
Hovind, an avowed creationist, has widely publicized his “standing offer” to pay $250,000 to anyone who can provide scientific evidence of evolution.
“No one has ever observed a dog produce a non-dog,” Hovind once wrote in reply to a New York Times article.
Sorry Dr. Dino, but not even you can escape the wrath of the Internal Revenue Service. They want their taxes, and God can’t protect you.
And as an aside, wtf is up with that last statement? No one has ever observed a dog produce a non-dog? I’ll acknowledge that his words are probably taken out of context, but what does that mean? How does it help his creationist view? Has anyone ever observed a human being produce a non-human being?
A blog of all things moderately uninteresting and irrelevant, written by a genius web auteur living in Southern California.

http://www.usdoj.gov/tax/txdv05362.htm has something interesting about Dr. Dino’s self proclaimed lawyer and tax advisor. Looks like Dr. Dino could have a cell mate very soon. Wouldn’t be the first associate and church member of his that was a known felon either. http://www.kent-hovind.com/assault.htm has the backstory on that and Mr. Hovind’s lucky break from being thrown in jail.
You may also want to host the articles the Southern Poverty Law Center has on Dr. Dino’s crazy Anti-Semetic rants. Dr. Dino’s sermons often lift word for word the conspiracy writings of Militias connected to Timothy McVeigh and other homegrown terriosits.
Btw Dr. Dino is a well known creationist btw. Hopefully this will do massive damage to the credibility of creationists among their followers.
Arkansas House Bill 2548 is a composite of anti-evolutionary sources at
http://www.antievolution.org/topics/law/ar_hb2548/ has more on Dr. Dino’s efforts to get certain states to ban Evolution textbooks.
