Pat Robertson Warns Pennysylvania Town of God’s Wrath
Thursday, November 10, 2005
And it begins. Reacting to yesterday’s news of a Pennysylvania town ousting a school board for teaching Intelligent Design, Pat Robertson has this to say:
“I’d like to say to the good citizens of Dover: if there is a disaster in your area, don’t turn to God, you just rejected Him from your city… And don’t wonder why He hasn’t helped you when problems begin, if they begin. I’m not saying they will, but if they do, just remember, you just voted God out of your city. And if that’s the case, don’t ask for His help because he might not be there.”
Yeah, very eloquently said Pat. This is the same idiot who said the United States should execute Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.
Hey Pat, what do you say to the families, friends, and relatives of the people along the Gulf Coast who lost their lives in the hurricanes earlier this year? I suppose that was God’s wrath too. Or how about the thousands who perished in the Pakistani quake? God’s wrath. Yup. I’m sure they had it coming to them. And what about the 100,000 plus who died in the South Asian Tsunami? God certainly has been pissed off lately.
Since you know him so well, why don’t you have a little sit-down with the man, and tell him to stop taking his anger out on the (mostly) good people of Earth?
I think i’m going to add a new cateogry to my blog and call it “Morons.” This will be my first entry filed under it.
A blog of all things moderately uninteresting and irrelevant, written by a genius web auteur living in Southern California.
