It’s hard to summarize the plot of this film in a few words. It’s about oil and the politics of the oil business. But it’s also much more than that.. I’ll let Roger Ebert explain this one.

Upon seeing this film, it really makes you wonder if things that happen in there actually happen in the real world. I think they do, but who knows to what extent. Oil is a premium commodity, and people will go to great lengths to make sure they have enough of it.

Syriana is great, and i’m going to say it’s up there on my list of top 2005 movies. Highly recommended.
